Foxton Singers

Foxton Singers is a village choir based in Foxton, South Cambridgeshire. It has a long history beginning the 1960s when it was conceived by Foxton resident Don Delanoy as a choir to support worship in St Laurence Church. It has met regularly ever since.

Foxton Singers perform The Voyage in 2018.

Whilst Foxton Singers’ initial brief was to support worship, and we still do sing in church from time to time, our repertoire these days is mostly secular – drawing inspiration from popular songs over the last 100 years and visiting such styles as jazz, blues, pop and classical. We enjoy learning new songs and are always up for a challenge.

The singers meet on a Thursday evening during term time from 7.30pm – 9.30pm and perform at an annual charity concert, Christmas carol service, various weddings and village events. Details of our concerts are given on our concerts page.

Membership costs £85 per term.
