
Performances are an important part of belonging to Foxton Singers. Below you can see a list of the concerts we have taken part in. Most are concerts that we organise ourselves, but occasionally we are invited to take part in concerts jointly with other choirs.
Concerts

July 2024 – One Day at a Time in aid of break – the care leaver’s charity.

January 2024 – Pastime with Good Company. Performed at the invitation of The Thriplow Society.

December 2023 – Festive Favourites. A participatory concert in aid of Jimmy’s Cambridge.

September 2023 – Some Enchanted Evening in aid of Parkinson’s UK Cambridge Branch.

July 2023 – Nobody Does it Better. This was a joint concert, held in Chatteris, alongside Chatteris Community Choir.

March 2023 – Celebrating Voices. A celebration of local choirs. Performing at the invitation of Home-Start Royston and South Cambridgeshire.

July 2022 – Thank you for the Music in aid of Eddie’s and Brainbow/Anna’s Hope charities. This was a joint concert, held in Chatteris, alongside Chatteris Community Choir.

July 2022 – Foxton Favourites (a feel-good concert) in aid of Music Therapy at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.

June 2019 – In the mood (a jazzy concert) in aid of The Sick Children’s Trust.

March 2019 – Celebrating Voices. A celebration of local choirs. Performing at the invitation of Home-Start Royston and South Cambridgeshire.

June 2018 – The Voyage by Bob Chilcott in aid of local branches of Age UK. A joint concert between Foxton Singers, Foxton Primary School Choir and Fowlmere Primary School Choir.

July 2017 – Around the World in 80 minutes (an evening of geographically-themed songs) in aid of Foxton Pre-School.

February 2017 – About Love. A celebration of local choirs. Performing at the invitation of Home-Start Royston and South Cambridgeshire.

October 2016 – As I was a walking… (traditional songs and folk tunes from the British Isles and beyond) in aid of The MindEd Trust. A joint concert between Foxton Singers and Ad Hoc Singers.

March 2016 – All at sea (a series of watery songs) in aid of the Jubilee Sailing Trust. A joint concert between the Cambridge Concert Orchestra and Foxton Singers.

July 2015 – Nobody does it better… (an evening of songs from the cinema) in aid of Foxton Church Roof Appeal.

March 2014 – The Circle of Life including A little jazz mass (Bob Chilcott) and Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo (Flanders & Horovitz) at West Road Concert Hall, Cambridge. A joint concert between Foxton Singers, Girton Community Choir, Girton Glebe Primary School Choir and St Mary’s Junior School Choir.

July 2012 – I’ve got rhythm… (an evening of popular songs) in aid of the Turner Syndrome Support Society.

March 2012 – Mass of the Children (John Rutter) at West Road Concert Hall. A joint concert between Foxton Singers, Girton Community Choir, Girton Glebe Primary School Choir and St Mary’s Junior School Choir.

July 2010 – Thank you for the music in aid of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and Foxton Play Area.
June 2010 – Thank you for the music. A joint concert between Foxton Singers and Girton Glebe Primary School Choir.
July 2008 – Fly me to the moon in aid of East Anglian Children’s Hospice and Save the Children. A joint concert between Foxton Singers and Fowlmere Singers.
